General
What are the dates of the 2022 Critical Care Congress?The 2022 Critical Care Congress will take place Monday, April 18 through Thursday, April 21, 2022.
How long will I be able to access the content? Most content will be available through April 21, 2023. Some exclusions apply and are indicated in the session descriptions.
How do I log in to the platform to access the sessions? Virtual Congress can be accessed by
logging in here with your SCCM Customer ID and password.
In which time zone is Congress being hosted? All session times are in Central Time.
Is continuing education credit offered? Physicians, nurses, pharmacists, respiratory therapists, and dietitians have the opportunity to earn continuing education/accredited continuing education credit (ACE). Maintenance of certification points are also available. More details will be available soon.
How do I claim CE/ACE credit for this event? Visit the CE/ACE Information tile on the event home page for instructions on claiming credit.
What is the deadline for claiming CE/ACE? Credit should be claimed by April 21, 2023.
What if I have a concern or complaint about the education?
A written complaint or grievance should be submitted to the Education Department. The Education Department will then attempt to resolve the grievance of the complaint. If the initial response is unsatisfactory to the complainant, the matter will be referred to the CEO/EVP for action. If the response from the CEO/EVP is unsatisfactory to the complainant, the matter will be referred to the SCCM Executive Committee. The ruling of the Executive Committee will be final.

When is the registration deadline? To receive the advance rate, register by March 30, 2022. Please visit the
registration page for details.
I registered but have not received a confirmation. How can I request a confirmation? Contact SCCM Customer Service at support@sccm.org or +1 847 827-6888.
What is included in the cost of my registration? You will receive access to educational content for a full year, the opportunity to engage in virtual Q&As with experts, continuing education credit, and more.
Can I cancel my registration? Yes, you can cancel at any time. Refund requests must be submitted in writing. Contact SCCM Customer Service at
support@sccm.org.What is the Congress cancelation/refund policy?
As of January 10, 2022, SCCM has decided to cancel the in-person event. SCCM will be offering Congress as a virtual-only option in April 2022. SCCM will transfer all in-person registration to the virtual option. If at any time before the virtual event you decide to not participate, you may request and will receive a full refund.
Please allow four weeks to process refunds. SCCM shall not be liable for any costs, expenses, or fees related to your cancellation of travel and attendance associated with the cancellation of the in-person event. This includes but is not limited to cancellation of airline tickets, car rental reservations, and hotel reservations. Booking, purchasing, or securing travel arrangements is at the risk of the registrant.

What are the plenary sessions?Plenary sessions are presentations designed to appeal to all Congress attendees. They are held during unopposed times. Find the full list

Virtual Event Platform
How do I log in to the platform?Virtual Congress can be accessed by
logging in here with your SCCM Customer ID and password.
What are the technical requirements needed to access the interactive platform?
- For the best Congress experience, please use Google Chrome or Firefox and operate outside all remote desktop environments. Pop-ups must be enabled on your browser.
- For live sessions, it is best to view them from your desktop or laptop. You will not need to download any special programs; you will access the live content straight through SCCM’s event platform.
What is the recommended web browser for the virtual Congress?For the best Congress experience, please use Google Chrome or Firefox.
How do I edit my profile?To edit your Congress event profile, click your name in the upper right-hand corner and select My Conference Profile. Please note that changes made here will not be reflected in your main SCCM account. To update your main SCCM account, log in to my.sccm.org.
How to I set my time zone?To set your time zone, click your name in the upper right-hand corner and select My Conference Profile. On that first tab under Name and Location, there is a Time Display Format field. Select Display times in my time zone. In the field right below that, choose your time zone. Click Save and Continue. Sessions will now be displayed in the time zone you indicated.
Why can’t others see my profile? Why can't I directly message others or receive messages?Update your networking settings to get access to all the networking features.
- Click your name in the upper right-hand corner and select My Conference Profile.
- Click Save and Continue until you reach the Networking tab.
- Under Your Privacy Options, make sure all three boxes are filled in to take advantage of networking opportunities!
- Note: Even when you share your information, your email address, phone number, and direct address will remain hidden to companies and other attendees.
How do I message an attendee?
- Click People in the left-hand navigation menu, then click Attendees List.
- Find the person you wish to contact and click their name.
- Their profile will pop up and you can select in the top orange bar to send an email (if enabled) or start a message board with them.
- Select Email to send a message to their email address.
- Note: Emailing another attendee does not share your email address with that person unless you share it in your message. The message is sent via the platform to their email address. You will not be able to see their email address.
- Select Message Board to open a chat window.
- To find your message board chats, on the Attendees List page, click Show only my chats directly below the search bar.
How do I message a speaker?
- Click People in the left-hand navigation menu, then click Speakers.
- Find the speaker you wish to contact and click their name.
- Their profile will pop up, If enabled, you can select in the bottom blue bar to send an email.
- You can also click a speaker's name from within the presentation pop up.
How do I add a session to My Schedule? In the
Full Schedule, click on the star icon to the right of the session so that it turns yellow and will be added to your schedule. Select My Schedule from the left-hand menu to view sessions you favorited.
Sessions you favorite on the event website can be easily accessed when claiming credit. Check your MySCCM account at the end of each day to see any newly favorited sessions near the top.
Why am I unable to view the livestream or launch the videos?Please ensure that your pop-up blocker has been disabled and
