Dr. Jablonski is a leader in system integration within Penn Medicine; a six-hospital, academic health system spanning eastern Pennsylvania to Southern New Jersey. Dr. Jablonski earned her BSN at Johns Hopkins University School of Nursing, completed an Adult Gerontology Clinical Nurse Specialist MSN Program at York College of Pennsylvania, and earned her Doctorate in Nursing Practice from Johns Hopkins University School of Nursing. She has over 20 years of wide-ranging clinical experience with expertise in critical care nursing. Her doctoral academic work focused on the assessment and management of agitation and delirium in critically ill adults. She has specialized training in translational research methods, quality improvement methodology, and implementation science. Dr. Jablonski has been employed by Penn Medicine for the past 15 years. First serving in the role of a unit based critical care clinical nurse specialist for 10 years, and over the last 5 years, working in systems integration and leading clinical alliances. Now serving in the role of Co-Chair of the Penn Medicine Critical Care Allianc, extensive work is done in clinical implementation of evidence based practices, including the ICU ABCDEF Bundle with pathway development, RN Driven protocols, clinical decision support, analytics, eICU collaboration, and innovative use of nudging and alerts. A few examples of other interdisciplinary initiatives include the identification and management of sepsis, reducing sepsis readmissions, post cardiac arrest targeted temperature management, ICU sedation, nurisng titration, and mechanical ventilation.
