Lexie Vaughn, MD is a Resident in the Department of General Surgery at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. She graduated from the Georgia Institute of Technology with a Bachelor of Science in Biology. She subsequently recieved her Doctor of Medicine from Mercer University School of Medicine in Savannah, GA. She is completing her fourth clinical year in general surgery and pursing a career in Minimally Invasive Surgery after residency training. Her research interests include minimally invasive surgical techniques for weight loss surgery, as well as foregut disease and adbominal wall reconstruction.
