Itsuki Osawa, MD, is a clinical fellow at the Department of Emergency and Critical Care Medicine at the University of Tokyo Hospital, Japan. He received his MD from the University of Tokyo in 2019 and completed his internal medicine residency at the University of Tokyo Hospital in 2021. 

Dr. Osawa is a physician-scientist interested in personalized medicine in the field of critical care using machine-learning-based algorithms. He has received several academic awards as the first author, including the best oral presentation award in the resident session (The 44th Annual Meeting of the Japanese Association for Acute Medicine, 2016) and ISF abstract award as the best abstract of all sepsis research (The 34th Annual Congress of ESICM, 2021).
