The aim of this session is to discuss challenges faced by a diverse group of critical care practitioners. Speakers will discuss a multitude of microagressions, including how to address them and strategies to reduce their occurrence in the workplace.

Review the definition of microagresssion
Discuss the impact of microagression on patients and team members
Discuss strategies for positively addressing microagressions in real-time clinical encounters and how to reduce their occurrence
