In this flipped-classroom session, an expert panel will discuss aspects of tele-critical care such as policy and governance, the National Emergency Tele-Critical Care Network (NETCCN), multiorganizational collaborative networks, data analytics, and quality metrics. Legal and licensing barriers to tele-critical care practice and the workings of a cloud-based virtual critical care ward will also be covered.

Review legal and licensing barriers to the practice of tele-critical care
Explore the rationale for creating a nationwide tele-critical care network to overcome geographic barriers and disparities of care during disasters and emergencies
Discuss the workings of a cloud-based virtual critical care ward
