Chiedozie Udeh MBBS, MHEcon, MBA, FCCP, FASA, FCCM, is a staff intensivist in the Cardiovascular Surgical Intensive Care Unit, Department of Intensive Care and Resuscitation, Anesthesiology Institute at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation. He is the Enterprise Medical Director for ICU Operations for the Cleveland Clinic Health System, and also serves as the Medical Director for eHospital, the Cleveland Clinic tele-critical care service. Dr. Udeh is board certified in Anesthesiology and Critical Care Medicine by the American Board of Anesthesiology. He has broad clinical experience in a variety of patient care settings spanning across international locations including, the United States, Nigeria, US Virgin Islands, New Zealand and Australia. He graduated from the College of Medicine, University of Nigeria, Enugu, completed his Anesthesiology residency at Maimonides Medical Center, Brooklyn, and Critical Care Medicine fellowship at Duke University Medical Center, Durham. His research interests are centered on impact of health system operations and process optimization on clincial and operational outcomes, specifically including the predictors of outcomes and complications in critical care, the role of telemedicine in crititcal care, as well as the economics of health care in general.
