Dr. Clifford Greyson is Associate Professor of Medicine at the University of Colorado School of Medicine, and an Attending Cardiologist at the Rocky Mountain Regional VA Medical Center. He received his MD and an MS in electrical engineering from Stanford University, then went on to complete his internal medicine training and a critical care medicine fellowship at Stanford. He moved to the University of California at San Francisco for his cardiology training, after which he joined the cardiology section at the San Francisco VA Medical Center. Since 1999, he has been at the University of Colorado where he currently attends in both the cardiac catheterization lab and on the echocardiography and noninvasive services at the Rocky Mountain Regional VA Medical Center (formerly Denver). His research focuses on right heart failure and right ventricular contractile dysfunction using large and small animal models, and he serves on the Cardiovascular studies subcommittee of the VA MERIT research program.
