Ann-Marie Brown, PhD, CPNP-AC/PC, FCCM, FAANP is an Associate Professor and Director, Acute Care PNP Program at the Nell Hodgson Woodruff School of Nursing at Emory University in Atlanta, GA. In addition she is a Nurse Scientist at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta and PICU nurse practitioner at Vidant Healthcare System in Greenville, NC.
Dr. Brown’s research has primarily focused on nutrition in critically ill children, with a focus on on enteral nutrition delivery, intolerance and pathways to optimize nutrition therapy across the heterogeneous PICU population.
Her clinical background is as a PICU NP, where she held leadership positions for many years. She serves on the executrive committee of the Pediatric Section of the Society of Critical Care Medicine, and is vice president of nursing for the World Federation of Pediatric Intensive and Critical Care Societies.
