Matthew Lissauer, MD, FCCM is currently associate professor of surgery and interim chief of acute care surgery at Rutgers-Robert Wood Johnson Medical School, but by the time he arrives at congress will have moved to Connecticut to become the division chief of acute surgery for Hartford Healthcare Medical Group at Hartford Hospital. Dr. Lissauer is an active clinician and academician. His research interests include acute kidney injury, the value of trauma care provision, and his surgical group's involvement in COVID19 care. He has been an active member of SCCM for over 15 years and has served as president of the Baltimore Chapter, chair of the Surgical Section, and chair of the Thrive-Patient Famly Centered Care Committee.
