Brandon M. Wiley, MD, MS, FACC, FASE is an Assistant Professor of Medicine at Mayo Clinic, Rochester. He is the Director of Point-of-Care Ultrasound for the Department of Cardiovascular Medicine and is a Consultant in the Cardiac Intensive Care Unit. In addition, he has an active practice in the echocardiography laboratory that includes interventional echocardiography and intraoperative echocardiography. He attended medical school at Temple University and trained in Internal Medicine at University of California, San Francisco. He completed the Academic Cardiovascular Fellowship at The Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai Hospital and then completed the Critical Care Medicine Fellowship at the National Institutes of Health. He is an active member of the SCCM Critical Care Ultrasound Committee and the ACC Critical Care Cardiology Task Force. His research focus is the intersection of echocardiography and critical care medicine.
