Dr. Julie Fitzgerald is an Assistant Professor in Anesthesiology and Critical Care at The University of Pennsylvania Perelman School of Medicine. She works clinically in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia. She is the Co-Director of the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia Pediatric Sepsis Program and a member of the the Immune Dysregulation Team. She is Board Certified in Pediatrics and Pediatric Critical Care Medicine. Dr. Fitzgerald’s research interests include clinical studies in sepsis and acute kidney injury, SARS-CoV-2 in children, cytokine release syndrome, and critical illness in immunocomprised patients.
