Dr. Jason L. Sperry is a Professor and Section Chief of Trauma and General Surgery with a primary appointment in the Department of Surgery, Division of Trauma and General Surgery and secondary appointments in the Department of Critical Care Medicine and the Clinical and Translational Science Institute at the University of Pittsburgh. Dr. Sperry is the Principal Investigator for the LITES network, a multicenter trauma network to execute clinical trials for the Department of Defense and the Principal investigator for the PAMPer trial and STAAMP trials funded by the Prehospital Use of Plasma in Traumatic Hemorrhage (PUPTH) program and the Tranexamic Acid Clinical Research (TACR) program, under the direction of the Department of The ARMY.
