Dr. Michael L. Cheatham is the Chief Surgical Officer at Orlando Health Orlando Regional Medical Center. He is a practicing acute care, trauma, and burn surgeon / intensivist at the Level I Trauma Center at Orlando Regional Medical Center. Dr. Cheatham and his fellow trauma surgeons were actively involved in the response to the Orlando Pulse Nightclub tragedy on June 12, 2016, one of the worst mass shootings in United States history. Dr. Cheatham has also been actively involved in humanitarian and disaster relief efforts around the world for over three decades.
