Dr. Ferguson graduated with her Doctor Pharmacy degree from the Ernest Mario School of Pharmacy at Rutgers University and completed a PGY1residency- from the James J. Peters VA Medical Center in Bronx, NY.
Dr. Ferguson is actively involved in the PGY1 and PGY2-ID programs at Montefiore and is the former chair of the Preceptor development committee. Her research and professional interests include antimicrobial stewardship, pain, agitation, and sedation optimization and medication use disparities. She has worked to improve diversity, equity, and inclusion the NY City Society of Health-Systems Pharmacists and SCCM’s DEI committee.
