I Direct the Cardiothoracic Surgical Critical Care Unit at Lenox Hill Hospital which recently received the New York State DOH Number 1 ranking statewide for outcomes after Open Heart Surgeries.
I am currently the Physician Advisor at Lenox Hill Hospital handling all aspects of Quality and Utilization review and an Elected Member of the Board of Governors of the Northwell Health Physician Partners, the largest physician group within New York State.
I handle all clinical, academic, quality, business and administrative aspects of the CTS CC physician group practice.
I Chair the Lenox Hill Hospital Critical Care Services Committee
I am Board Certified in Internal Medicine and in the Sub-Specialties of Critical Care Medicine and Neuro-Critical Care Medicine and have devoted my career to the practice of the highly Sub-specialized field of Cardiothoracic Surgical Critical Care.
I completed my MBA from the Robert B. Willumstad School of Business at the Adelphi University.
I am a Fellow of the American College of Physicians, American College of Chest Physicians, American College of Critical Care Medicine and the American College of Healthcare Executives
I currently serve on faculty as Associate Professor at the Zucker School of Medicine, Hofstra Northwell School of Nursing and Physician Assistant Studies at the Hofstra University.
I have served on the Patient and Family Support committee and the Chapters Alliance Committee of the SCCM and served as President of the New Jersey Chapter of the Society of Critical Care Medicine, 2018-2019.
