Claire M Hennigan, MD, FAAP, is a Pediatric Critical Care fellow at Columbia University Irving Medical Center. Her primary research interests are in the patient and family experience of critical illness, including outcomes following pediatric ICU hospitalization. In particular, Dr. Hennigan is interested in how guidance from the medical team shapes the illness and recovery experience. After graduating from the University of Virginia, she received her medical degree from SUNY Upstate Medical University and completed her residency in pediatrics at Brown University/Hasbro Children's Hospital.
