Alexander Lukic is a physician assistant in San Diego, California at Scripps Health. He earned his Bachelors of Science degree at Miami University, and later went on to attain his masters in physician assistant studies from Ohio Dominican University in Columbus, Ohio.
He began practicing as a physician assistant in the Department of Critical Care Medicine at the Cleveland Clinic from 2016 - 2020, serving in a leadership position as the APP education coordinator in the respiratory institiute from 2018-2020. This role consisted of the onboarding and training of new hire APPs and developing the education cirriculum for the transition to practice program. Additionally, he was a faculty member in the simulation center instructing basic point of care ultrasound, critical care procedures, and an introductory airway course.
In 2020, he departed from the Cleveland Clinic to join Scripps Health in San Diego. Alex now serves as the Team Lead for the Bedside Procedure Team. Alex is eager and passionate about education and training advanced practice providers to reach the top of their license. He is involved with SCCM as an associate member, and serves as a member at large representative for the In-Training section.
