Layne Silver, MD, is a 2nd year pediatric critical care medicine fellow at Cohen Children's Medical Center of Northwell Health in New Hyde Park, New York. She received her Bachelor of Science degree at Cornell University in Biometry and Statistics and her medical degree from Renaissance School of Medicine at Stony Brook University. She completed her pediatric residency training at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. Her current research interests include virtual medical education, pediatric acute resipiratory distress syndrome, and simulation.
