Dr. Andrew Platt, MD, PhD is a clinical fellow in Critical Care Medicine and Infectious Diseases at the National Institute of Health. He obtained his MD and PhD in Microbiology at Boston University School of Medicine before completing a residency in Internal Medicine at Boston Medical Center. His reasearch interests are in host responses to severe and emerging pathogens, and host-pathogen interactions driving pathogenesis.
