Katherine Farrar MSHS, PA-C is an ICU physician assistant at The George Washington University Hospital in Washington DC. Originally from the San Francisco Bay Area, she first entered medicine as a perfusion assistant in the OR. As a member of the open heart and transplant teams she first learned about management of the critically ill. Since training at GW School of Medicine and Health Sciences, she has refined her passion for intensive care and for PA advocacy. Her interests include mechanical circulatory support, transplant, advanced practicioners in critical care, palliative medicine and furthering COVID research in the ICU setting.
