Dr. Caleigh A. Curran, PharmD, BCPS, BCCCP is a critical care clinical pharmacist at North Shore Medical Center in Salem, MA . She is an active member of the Society of Critical Care Medicine (SCCM), American Society of Health-System Pharmacists (ASHP), and currently involved in the American College of Clinical Pharmacy's (ACCP) Critical Care PRN Social Media Committee and Critical Care PNR Research Committee. Prior to her current position, she completed a PGY2 Critical Care Pharmacy Residency at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston, MA. Highlights from her PGY2 include implementation of a pharmacist initiated medication dose adjustment protocol for patients receiving continuous renal replacement therapy (CRRT), along with development of an angioedema treatment guideline. Dr. Curran has also completed a PGY1 Pharmacy Residency at Yale New Haven Hospital in New Haven, CT before moving on to specialize in critical care. During this time, she worked on projects including vasopressin waste reduction and development of a guideline for baseline lab monitoring for specialty biologic medications.
