Dr. Abhishek Bhardwaj went to medical school in India. After graduating from Kasturba Medical College, Manipal in 2010, he trained in Internal Medicine from 2011-2014 at Drexel University's Mercy Catholic Medical Center, Philadelphia, USA. From 2014 - 2019, he worked as a critical care hospitalist in the Medical Intensive Care Unit at University of Pennsylvania, Penn Presbyterian Medical Center. He simultaneously pursued a Resuscitation fellowship at the University of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia, USA. He is currently a Pulmonary & Critical Care Medicine Fellow at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation, Cleveland, OH, USA.
His research interest includes high quality cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), post-cardiac arrest care and targeted temperature management post arrest.
