Jamie Palmer, BS, is a third year medical student at the University of Maryland School of Medicine. She is presenting on how differences between invasive and non-invasive blood pressure measurements results in changes in clinical management in patients with acute aortic disease. Her past research projects have been prospective, retrospective, and meta-analyses studies about hemodynamic monitoring and outcomes in acutely ill patients who are admitted to the Critical Care Resuscitation Unit at University of Maryland Medical Center.
