My name is K. Sofia Mendieta, MD. I am originally from Washington DC and completed my pediatric training in San Juan, Puerto Rico. I am currently a third year PICU fellow at Monroe Carrell Jr. Children's Hospital at Vanderbilt. My interests are medical education by use of simulation and improving CPR delivery in our ICUs. Next year I am starting a 4th year Cardiac ICU fellowship at Children's National.
