Niranjan is a Senior Clinical fellow in Cardiac Critical Care at Boston Children's Hospital and former Pediatric Critical Care Fellow at the Stead Family Children’s Hospital, University of Iowa, and a research fellow at the BioMOST lab. He obtained his medical degree from Mohan Kumaramangalam Medical College, Salem, India. Ninja completed his residency from the South Bronx, New York in the Icahn School of Medicine at Mt. Sinai. At the BioMOST lab, he studied the development of safety protocols for flushing of arterial lines in the pediatric ICU and worked on a quality improvement project for preventing unplanned extubations.
