Dr. Bradley Fritz is an Instructor of Anesthesiology at Washington University in St. Louis, where he also serves as associate medical director for the Surgical Intensive Care Unit. He obtained his medical degree and a Master of Science in Clinical Investigation at Washington University. He then matriculated in the Academic Scholars Advancement Program at Washington University, through which he completed his anesthesiology residency, critical care medicine fellowship, and a T32 research fellowship. He is currently supported by a Mentored Research Training Grant from the Foundation for Anesthesia Education and Research to study the use of machine learning models to enhance early prediction of postoperative complications during surgery. His other research interests include neurocognitive and mental health outcomes following surgery and critical illness.
