Dr. Kozyak is an attending physician in the Division of Cardiac Critical Care Medicine at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, and Assistant Professor of Clinical Anesthesiology & Critical Care Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania Perelman School of Medicine. His interests include procedural and diagnostic ultrasound, cardiomyopathy, mechanical circulatory support, and anticoagulation. He currently leads point of care ultrasound and procedural education efforts in the CICU, as well as a Cardiac Center effort to develop consensus guidelines for vascular access in patients with congenital heart disease. He is a member of the CHOP Cardiac ECMO and data analytics (PREDICT) working groups, and also maintains a translational research collaboration with Penn investigators developing genetic therapies for muscular dystrophy.
