Dr. Abdalla A. Ammar, PharmD, FCCM, BCCCP, BCPS is a Neurocritical Care Clinical Pharmacist at New York Presbyterian Hospital, Weill Cornell Medical Center and a Clinical Associate professor at the University of Connecticut School of Pharmacy and University of Saint Joseph School of Pharmacy. He also teaches didactic courses at the Yale School of Medicine Physician Associate Program. Dr. Ammar received his Doctor of Pharmacy from Purdue University in West Lafayette, Indiana and completed his Pharmacy Practice Residency training at the Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland, Ohio. Dr Ammar practiced as Neurocritical Care Pharmacist at Yale New Haven Health and as a Critical Care Pharmacist at Cleveland Clinic. He is active within multiple organizations, including the Society of Critical Care Medicine (SCCM), the Neurocritical Care Society (NCS), and the American College of Clinical Pharmacy (ACCP). His research interests include anticoagulation reversal, the management of status epileptics, and alcohol withdrawal syndrome.
