Dr. Nikki Miller Ferguson is an Assistant Profressor and Pediatric Intensivist at Children's Hospital of Richmond at Virginia Commonwealth University. Her clinical expertise is in neurocritical care and research career has centered around traumatic brain injury (TBI), particularly in abusive head trauma (AHT) and the interplay of neurodevelopmental stage and stress at time of injury and outcome. She is am co-director of the Children’s Hospital of Richmond Pediatric Traumatic Brain Injury Program and the Children’s Hospital Foundation Pediatric Critical Care Neuroscience Research Laboratory.
