Dr. Marc Kowalkowski, PhD is an epidemiologist and health services researcher. He is Lead Scientist in the Center for Outcomes Research and Evaluation and Associate Professor of Medicine, Wake Forest School of Medicine at Atrium Health. His research focuses on the epidemiology, management, and outcomes of sepsis and other acute infection and uses EHR-based research, causal inference, and pragmatic evaluation methods to assess the delivery of complex care interventions in these populations.
