Desiree Kosmisky, PharmD, BCCCP received her PharmD from the University of Pittsburgh School of Pharmacy in 2013. She completed a PGY1 Pharmacy Residency at Carolinas Medical Center followed by a PGY2 Critical Care Pharmacy Residency at the University of Cincinnati Medical Center. In 2015, along with her colleague Sonia Everhart, PharmD, BCPS, BCCCP, FCCM, she established the tele-critical care pharmacy program at Atrium Health in Charlotte, NC. Within her role, she divides her time between the TCC program and the bedside at Atrium Health Cabarrus. Desiree is involved in the Clinical Pharmacy and Pharmacology Section’s Patient Safety and Communications committees as well as the Tele-Critical Care Committee of SCCM.
