My name is Dr. Gerald Weinhouse. I am an Assistant Professor of Medicine at the Harvard Medical School and an Associate Physician in the Division of Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine at Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston, MA. I have been in practice since 1995. I have a large outpatient practice divided between a general pulmonary practice at Brigham and Women's Hospital and a thoracic oncology program at Dana Farber Cancer Institute where I see patients with cancer or treatment-related problems. In addition, I am one of the attendings staffing a COVID Recovery Clinic. I attend in a Thoracic Surgical Intensive Care Unit as part of a multi-disciplinary intensivist service. Administratively I am the medical director of the Respiratory Care Services Department as well as the Pulmonary Rehabilitation Service. My research interest is in the affects of sleep loss on the recovery of the critically ill.
