Christopher J. Babbitt, MD, FCCP is the Medical Director of the PICU at Miller Children's and Women's Hospital of Long Beach in Long Beach, California. He graduated from Tulane Medical School and then trained in pediatrics and critical care at UCLA Mattel Children's Hospital. In addition to being the medical director, he practices full time in the PICU. His research interests are traumatic brain injury, quality improvement, asthma, respiratory failure and COVID 19.
