Kalen B. Manasco, Pharm.D., BCPS, BCPPS, FCCP, FPPA is a Clinical Professor and Division Head in the Department of Pharmacotherapy and Translational Research at the University of Florida College of Pharmacy and a Clinical Pharmacy Specialist in the pediatric intensive care unit at UF Health Shands Hospital in Gainesville, Florida. Dr. Manasco received a B.S. degree in microbiology and a Pharm.D. degree from the University of Georgia. After graduation, she completed a pharmacy practice residency at Shands Hospital at the University of Florida in Gainesville, Florida, and a pediatric specialty residency at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston, South Carolina. From 2003-2007, she served as a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Clinical and Administrative Sciences at Mercer University College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences in Atlanta, Georgia. She served as a Clinical Associate Professor at the University of Georgia College of Pharmacy from 2007-2017, where she also served as the PGY2 pediatric pharmacy residency program director. Her research interests include pediatric infectious disease and pediatric pulmonology (cystic fibrosis and asthma).
