Mohammad Alshaer, PharmD, PhD, Research Assistant Professor, Infectious Disease Pharmacokinetics Laboratory, University of Florida. Dr. Alshaer received a Pharm.D. from Jordan University of Science and Technology and a Ph.D. from University of Florida. He worked as a clinical specialist for years, then joined UF College of Pharmacy as a graduate student/assistant. His research focuses on the pharmacokinetics/pharmacodynamics of antimicrobial therapy in patients with serious infections with special interest in beta-lactams, population pharmacokinetics, precision dosing, and antimicrobial exposure-response relationship in patients.
