Nicole Hume, PharmD is a PGY2 Critical Care pharmacy resident at University of Kentucky HealthCare. She received her Bachelors of Science in toxicology from Penn State University and Doctor of Pharmacy from the University of Pittsburgh. She completed her PGY1 Pharmacy residency at University of Kentucky HealthCare in Lexington, Kentucky. In her role as PGY2 Critical Care Pharmacy Resident, she practices in a wide variety of critical care settings while precepting pharmacy students and teaching at the University of Kentucky College of Pharmacy. Dr. Hume's research interests include infectious diseases in the critically ill population, optimization of antimicrobial dosing according to kidney function biomarkers, and implementation of intensive care unit guidelines in clinical practice.
