Maria Pliakas, MD is one of the current Pediatric Chief Resident of the University of Michigan Pediatric Resideny Program. She will be starting fellowship training in Pediatric Critical Care Medicine at the University of Michigan in the fall of 2022. She completed her undergraduate degree at the University of Michigan with a Bachelor of Science in Biology and Evolutionary Anthropology with a minor in Modern Greek. She obtained her medical degree at the University of Michigan Medical School.
