Alexis Keyworth is a physician assistant currently working in Cardiothoracic Critical Care at the University of Colorado Hospital in Aurora, CO. She has been working in the field of critical care since she graduated from the George Washington University PA Program in August 2010 and began her career in a one-year Critical Care PA Post-graduate Residency Program at Johns Hopkins University. Following her residency program, she worked in the Medical Intensive Care Unit at Johns Hopkins for 3.5 years before embarking on an 8-month travel hiatus in Cambodia with her husband. Upon their return, she and her husband relocated to Denver, CO in late 2015 and Alexis began working inthe CTICU February 2016 where she continues to work as full-time clinical faculty. In early 2020, she accepted a position as the APP Lead for the Critical Care Track within the Surgical APP Post-graduate Fellowship at UCH. Since that time, in addition to her clinical duties, she has focused her energy on developing that program and looks forward to the program's growth in the coming years. Outside of work, Alexis enjoys trail running, traveling, reading, exploring Denver, and spending time with her husband, 4-year old son, and 2-year old twin daughters.
