Assistant Professor in the Pharmacy Practice Department at King Saud Bin Abdulaziz for Health Sciences and a critical care clinical pharmacist at King Abdulaziz Medical City. He earned his Bachelor degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences from King Saud University and his doctor of pharmacy degree from the university of Tennessee for health sciences center (UTHSC) before the end of 2017. Later, he completed an ASHP accredited PGY-1 from Brigham and Women’s Hospital (BWH) and an ASHP accredited PGY-2 in Critical Care Pharmacotherapy from BWH, a Harvard affiliated hospital, Boston, USA. Dr. Alshaya is American board certified in pharmacotherapy and critical care. He contributed as scientific committee member and organizing committee member at multiple national and international conferences. He publishes in critical care related topics in peer reviewed journals and presented multiple critical care related pearls and poster presentations at different conferences inside and outside Saudi Arabia. He currently serve as the treasurer for the critical care and emergency medicine pharmacy specialty network.
