Ginger Rouse obtained her Doctor of Pharmacy from Duquesne University and completed her postgraduate pharmacist residency training at Yale New Haven Hospital. She has worked at Yale New Haven Hospital for 10 years where she is a clinical pharmacist in the Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU) and is the Director of the PGY-2 critical care pharmacy residency program. Ginger’s professional interests include ICU management of end-stage liver disease, alcohol withdrawal, the pharmacist’s role on adult medical emergency response teams, and pharmacist workflow optimization. She is an active member of the Connecticut Society of Health-System Pharmacists (CSHP) and served as the Junior and Senior Board Member previously. She is also a member of the Society of Critical Care Medicine (SCCM).
