Dr. Kourtney Guthrie is a third year pediatric critical care fellow at the University of Florida, Shands Children's Hospital in Gainesville Florida where she currently serves as a chief PICU fellow and vice chair of hospital relations of the housestaff commitee. She earned her undergraduate and medical degrees at the University of South Carolina and completed her pediatric residency at the University of Florida, Shands Children's Hospital. Her research interests include pediatric ECMO and blood product usage as well as pediatric trauma with special interest in underserved populations. She is passionate about continued education of herself and her interdisciplinary peers and looks forward to contnued invlovlement with SCCM as she begins her young career.
