L. Nelson Sanchez-Pinto, MD, MBI, FAMIA is an Assitant Professor of Pediatrics (Critical Care) and Preventive Medicine (Health and Biomedical Informatics) at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine and Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children's Hospital of Chicago. He is a pediatric critical care physician, biomedical informatics specialist, and clinical data scientist. Dr. Sanchez-Pinto NIH-funded research focuses on discovering and evaluating data-driven phenotypes of critical illness and developing startegies for precision medicine in the acute care setting with a focus on pediatric sepsis.
