Shannon Byler is a first year Pediatric Critical Care Medicine Fellow at Boston Children's Hospital in Boston MA. She completed medical school at Boston University, pediatric residency at Boston Children's Hospital, and a Masters of Public Health at John's Hopkins University. Her previous research has focused on improving the diagnosis and management of sepsis in pediatric patients. More recently, she has become involved in the Pediatric Intensive Care Influenza (PICFLU) Study Group within PALISI and is studying influenza outcomes in critically ill children.
