Dr. Ashley Asbell, PharmD, is currently the PGY2 Critical Care Pharmacy Resident at UVA Health in Charlottesville, Virginia. She is a 2020 graduate of the University of Georgia College of Pharmacy. Following graduation, she first completed a PGY1 pharmacy residency at UVA Health before pursuing critical care. She is currently completing research within the medical intensive care unit at UVA Health assessing a standardized haloperidol dosing schematic prior to extubation in patients with agitation related to hyperactive delirium, and its effects on time to extubation and benzodiazepine use. Her current interests include sedation, sepsis, and toxicology.
