Neethi Pinto, MD, MS, Assistant Professor of Anesthesiology, Critical Care Medicine, and Pediatrics at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia, is an expert in outcomes research. Her work focuses on understanding the long-term sequelae of critical illness in children and developing interventions to modify these outcomes. With the Pediatric Acute Lung Injury and Sepsis Investigators (PALISI) and the Eunice Kennedy Shriver National Institute of Child Health and Human Development (NICHD) Collaborative Pediatric Critical Care Research Networks (CPCCRN), Dr. Pinto is leading the development of a core outcome measurement set for use in long-term outcomes studies in the field of pediatric critical care medicine. She co-chairs the PALISI POST-PICU Investigators Outcomes Subgroup and was appointed to the Society of Critical Care Medicine THRIVE Task Force to develop research, patient support, and educational resources to improve the lives of survivors of critical illness.
