Melissa Yildirim, MD is a third year fellow in Pediatric Critical Care Medicine at the University of Virginia. She completed Pediatrics residency and medical school at the University of Virginia, and holds an undergraduate degree in International Health from Georgetown University. Her research interests include neurodevelopmental outcomes and management of medical complexity after critical illness. After graduation, she will pursue a second fellowship in Pediatric Cardiology at the Cleveland Clinic.
