Dr. Caitlin (Cait) E. Kulig is a Cardiology Clinical Pharmacist at St. Joseph’s University Medical Center in Paterson, NJ and a Clinical Assistant Professor at the Ernest Mario School of Pharmacy, Rutgers University, in Piscataway, NJ. Dr. Kulig received her Bachelor of Science from Stevens Institute of Technology in Hoboken, NJ and her Doctor of Pharmacy Degree from the University of North Carolina Eshelman School of Pharmacy in Chapel Hill, NC. She went on to pursue a PGY-1 Acute Care Residency and PGY-2 Cardiology Residency at the University of California, Davis Medical Center in Sacramento, CA. Dr. Kulig’s clinical practice site primarily involves inpatient cardiothoracic surgery but she does practice one day a week at the cardiology outpatient clinic. Dr. Kulig’s clinical interests include mechanical circulatory support, anticoagulation, and heart failure. In her free time, Dr. Kulig manages a cardiology blog for her rotation learners (https://cards.rxexplained.com/) and is an avid animal lover; she has 2 rescue dogs and a 60 gallon aquarium.
