Donna Prentice PhD, RN, ACNS-BC, CCRN, FCCM is a Research Scientist in the Department of Research for Patient Care Services. Donna has over 40 years of experience in critical care, over 30 years of experience as a Clinical Nurse Specialist in critical care. Donna has collaborated on numerous inter professional research projects including clinician driven protocols for weaning from mechanical ventilation, sedation titration, early mobility, flushing practices for central lines, Ultrasound assessment of bladder volume, product evaluations, use of capnography in pulmonary embolism diagnosis and CHG bathing. Donna has been the co-editor on a CCRN review book. Donna enjoys mentoring staff on EBP and research. Her areas of interest include capnography, pulmonary embolism and implementation of evidence based practice.
