Loren Farley, MD (PGY-6) is a third year Pediatric Critical Care fellow at Nationwide Children's Hospital in Columbus, Ohio. She completed her pediatrics residency at the University of Tennessee Health and Science Center in Memphis, Tennessee and her medical school education at The Florida State University in Tallahassee, Florida. She is currently completing her Masters in Biomedical Education through The Ohio State Univeristy in Columbus, Ohio. Her fellowship research focuses on Extracorporeal Membrane Oxygenation (ECMO) education and her quality improvement work focuses on time to antibiotic therapy in sepsis in the PICU. Her long term research goals are to develop a longitudinal ECMO curriculum for fellows that can eventually be used as the basis for developing an ECMO-specific Entrustable Professional Activity (EPA).
